Insuphishient: Your Daily Phish Podcast Fix
Insuphishient is a Phish podcast hosted by Matt and Nick — a 500-episode series dedicated to exploring the music, culture, and one-of-a-kind universe of the greatest band of all time.
With no set setlists and no rules, each episode dives into Phish shows, band lore, and wild theories — blending deep insights with hilarious hot takes. Whether you’re a seasoned fan or just discovering Phish, there’s a spot for you here.
Each week follows a groove of its own:
- Monday: Soundcheck — setting the stage for the week ahead.
- Tuesday: International Jams — exploring Phish's global impact.
- Wednesday: World Wide Wednesdays — tracking the latest Phish news from across the web.
- Thursday: This Day in Phishtory — revisiting legendary shows from the archives.
- Friday: Big Money Friday — when the chaos ramps up and anything goes.
It’s just two friends talking Phish… mostly. Expect the (un)expected.

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Insuphishient, the only podcast brave enough to ask, “What if two men with access to microphones used that power almost smartly ?”
Big news tonight. Trey Anastasio’s acoustic tour is officially underway, which means across America, theaters are filling up with emotionally available Phish fans pretending they are there for “the arrangements” and not to stare lovingly at a wooden chair and whisper, “This is art.”
Meanwhile, back here in the laboratory, Matt has brought facts, Nick has brought confidence, and together they have created the kind of episode normally only heard by people who fall asleep wearing cargo shorts in a Subaru.
Tonight’s show has everything. Opinions. Questions. Wild certainty about things no one can prove. The kind of energy that says, “We did not prepare, but we did arrive.” Somewhere in the distance, a setlist is being judged. Somewhere closer, a grown man is overexplaining a jam as if he has been called to testify before Congress.
And let me say this. Trey is out there on an acoustic tour, stripping it all down, baring his soul, giving the people intimacy, vulnerability, and craft. And here, in beautiful contrast, Matt and Nick are doing whatever this is.
So tune in. Settle down. Lower your expectations just enough to enjoy yourself.
