Insuphishient: Your Daily Phish Podcast Fix

The Promise Vol: SPAC

Nick & Matt

Well, we’ve come to the saddest day of the summer.

Phish has wrapped up their summer tour.
True, there are six more shows on the books but you’ll have to wait 46 days or as we call it,  2 Gordons.

But not all hope is lost.
The band just finished a run at S.P.A.C. that will go down in the history books.

Starting with Night one.  Trey made a promise.
A promise so outrageous, so ridiculous, that the odds of keeping it were microscopic.
However, against all odds is exactly where Trey likes to live. Where he thrives. Where the rest of us give up, he gets up.

Even the great René Huemer stood in awe as he snapped a photo he took many times before but never at the opening of a show.
What he captured was our hero hoisting the KOA 1.5 high above his head like some strange relic. This was not just a gesture.

It was a summoning. A spell. An incantation. The Band transformed. From four guys in cool shirts (especially Mike and Page) into the immortal Phish-men.

And on today’s episode of Insuphishient, Matt and Nick make sense of it all.

Plus Cheese!
